In this webinar, we will show the new advancements in ADINA 2024, as well as the advancements in its interoperability with other Bentley structural products, such as STAAD.Pro and RAM Structural System. These enhancements mean new possibilities in the application of linear and nonlinear time-history analysis of buildings, civil structures, and other pieces of infrastructure subject to extreme events, such as earthquakes or explosions. Time-history analysis using finite element analysis continues to be integrated and developed within codes of design as an important approach for designing, maintaining, and extending the lifespan of complex, sustainable infrastructure.
You will learn:
- How to export full models from STAAD.Pro and RAM to ADINA, now including loads.
- How to incorporate plastic hinges, as well as linear and nonlinear dampers, in ADINA.
- About the new Takeda and Degrading-Plasticity nonlinear concrete material models.
- How to handle Rayleigh and Modal damping and the differences between them.
