Mr. Barkasi is responsible for supporting Reality Modeling applications, and Orbit GT. His current work includes developing workflows integrating iTwin Reality Capture models and data extracted from Orbit GT with Bentley’s design software applications.


Mr Barkasi has over 28 years of experience in Civil Engineering and Geographic Information Systems. Many of his 18 years at Bentley were spent working within the civil group. He has a deep understanding of Bentley's civil, bridge and cloud platforms. His work with Reality Modeling over the past five years has expanded his abilities in photogrammetry, AI and machine learning.


A Temple University graduate with a Postbaccalaureate Certificate in GIS from Penn State. Prior to joining Bentley, Mr. Barkasi worked as a GIS Analyst and civil designer for LTL Consultants. Most Recently Mr. Barkasi has been involved building UAV systems and as time permits, occasionally, gets to fly them.
